A recent Discover Wisconsin television episode on bicycling in Wisconsin highlighted the Stevens Point area.

Sara Brish of the Stevens Point Area Convention and Visitors Bureau informed me that this episode included a segment on Portage County featuring the Green Circle Trail, the Tomorrow River State Trail, Standing Rocks County Park, and rural Portage County roads.

According to Brish, “The first of three television shows aired last week throughout the Midwest. We have received many positive comments and inquiries about biking since the airing.”

Discover Wisconsin describes itself on its website as “a television show dedicated to Wisconsin tourism” with an emphasis on “showcasing Wisconsin’s many great vacation treasures.”
