Pizza-themed Bike Fun returns Wednesday evening on the monthly Poky Pizza Pedal. This is a great opportunity to enjoy a short, slow, pleasant bike ride followed by food and beverage while socializing with other Poky Pedalers.

The Poky Pizza Pedal meets on Wednesday July 8 at 5:15 PM at Point Area Bicycle Service (1311 Strongs Ave in downtown Stevens Point). If you need a bit of air in your tires, John the master mechanic at PABS will be happy to pump them up at no charge.

We’ll then head off on a 4-mile loop urban bicycle ride through attractive neighborhoods, returning to a pizza restaurant close to our starting location. Our route will stay on non-motorized paths and calm neighborhood streets. At our destination, Poky Pedalers may either join in on the group pizza order or else order something else off the menu. Please plan on purchasing whatever you choose to eat or drink. Cash is most convenient for those participating in pizza.

As is the case with all Poky Pedals, the Poky Pizza Pedal is free and all Poky Pedalers are welcome. All you need to do to share in this popular Bike Fun is to show up with your bicycle at the starting time and place.
