Our final Poky Pizza Pedal for 2015 is this Wednesday. Poky Pedalers certainly won’t want to miss this opportunity to share pizza-inspired Bike Fun.

The Poky Pizza Pedal will meet on Wednesday August 5 at 5:15 PM at Point Area Bicycle Service (1311 Strongs Ave between Main and Clark in downtown Stevens Point). If you need a shot of air before we ride off, just ask inside PABS and John, the resident bicycle genius, will be happy to pump your tires up at no charge.

Bikes and pizza are the ingredients for Bike Fun on the Poky Pizza Pedal

We’ll then ride off on a slow 4-mile loop on calm streets and non-motorized paths, admiring charming Stevens Point neighborhoods all the while. Upon returning, we’ll all pile into a pizza place within a block or two of our starting location where we’ll enjoy food, beverages, and the company of Poky Pedalers.

Like all Poky Pedals, the Poky Pizza Pedal is free of charge (although you should expect to pay for whatever you order at the pizza place) and all Poky Pedalers are welcome. Poky Pedalers can choose to either share in the giant pizza order or else order other items off the menu. If you plan on having pizza, it is most convenient if you bring cash to pay your pizza share (usually around $6 for those eating an average amount of pizza). Even if you prefer not to eat anything, you are welcome to sit and chat among the pizza-eating Poky Pedalers.
