All Poky Pedals are free. Some will stop at stores selling food or other items – whether or not you buy anything is up to you, but bring cash if you want to make a purchase.

July 17 Tuesday
Poky Pedaling Potluck Picnic
Meet at 5:15 PM at Goerke Park near entrance to pool, ride at 5:30 PM
Less than 5 mile ride to a mystery park location
Bring food or drink to share (no alcohol), or bring cash for the food store stop
Cups/plates/utensils will be available, but you are encouraged to bring your own
Return ride to Goerke Park around dusk – front light and rear reflector encouraged

July 21 Saturday (rain date: July 22 Sunday)
Epic Ice Cream Ride
Meet at 12:45 PM at Iverson Park near slide set, ride at 1PM
A summer day riding a bike and eating ice cream…Bike Fun to the max! Bowls and spoons provided for sharing – a rolling ice cream tasting party…but if you want your own triple scoop at each, no one will stop you! Here’s more details:
- A slow figure-8 loop on calm streets and multi-use paths: a 7 mile loop (for those satisfied with a small-to-moderate amount of ice cream) followed by an optional 12 mile epic loop (for those who want an epic amount of ice cream).
- Please expect to pay for the ice cream you consume – eating ice cream is optional.
- There will be options for participants who have dairy restrictions – please use the Contact page to e-mail Poky Pedaling Stevens Point about this so arrangements can be made. After all, everyone deserves Bike Fun.
