All Poky Pedals are free. Some will stop at stores selling food or other items – whether or not you buy anything is up to you, but bring cash if you want to make a purchase.

July 8 Wednesday
Poky Pizza Pedal
Meet at 5:15 PM at Point Area Bike Service (1311 Strongs Ave), ride at 5:30 PM
Free air in your tires, followed by a slow 4 mile urban loop ride
Ends at a downtown pizza place for enjoying food, beverage, and socializing

July 14 Tuesday
Poky Pedaling Potluck Picnic
Meet at 5:15 PM at Goerke Park near entrance to pool, ride at 5:30 PM
Slow under 5 mile ride to a mystery park location – different on each ride
Bring food or drink to share (no alcohol)
Plates/utensils/cups are provided, but you are encouraged to bring your own
Return ride to Goerke Park around dusk – front light and rear reflector/light encouraged

July 18 Saturday (rain date: July 19 Sunday)
Bike/Ped Plan Vision Ride
Meet at 12:45 PM at Bukolt Park near the skate park, ride at 1 PM
Encore from 2014: Learn how the recently-adopted Portage County Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan will improve our transportation options. We will ride to several Stevens Point locations where the plan makes recommendations to improve biking and walking. Poky Pedalers will learn about numerous innovative types of infrastructure that can substantially improve comfort and safety for those who bike and walk. A slow 11 mile loop bicycle ride on calm streets and non-motorized paths.
July 24 Friday
TGIF Dessert Ride
Meet at 7 PM at Stevens Point downtown square, ride at 7:15 PM
A 3-mile evening ride along the Wisconsin River to Bukolt Park and back
Ends at a dessert place close to our starting location
Front light and rear reflector/light encouraged
